I would have told myself to wait and watch to see if they really the identifying mark of "Love among themselves" that they tout so loudly. I would have explained "love bombing" and encouraged my younger self to see how its working out for newly baptized ones after they were dunked. Most of all I would have encouraged patience to see how it all functions. It would have helped I know it.

What would you like to have known about JWs before deciding whether to get baptised?
by slimboyfat inif you could go back in time and tell yourself one thing about jws would you do it?
and what would you choose to say to yourself?
do you think you could have convinced yourself not to get baptised if you chose the right thing to say?

" you will never grow old..."

I heard that trope when I was young but it stopped being a common saying in the 90's. People could sense the culling of the herd by death after death of supposed "undying" brothers and sisters. It was something unmentionable by the time the 2000's came about. No one had the guts to even venture it forth. Its good to be 65 considering the alternative. Happy birthday if that is the fact.

"Well now at least they get a ressurection!"
by stuckinarut2 inyes, that is what a witness said after the police shootings and terrible aftermath of violence occurred this week in the usa..... they said that it now gives them a chance to live forever...as if they would not have had that opportunity if they had not been tragically killed..... of course according to witness teachings, the contradictory thing is that if the big a had come a day before, then those same people would have been killed by jehovah because they were not his worshipers.....

There seems to always be a loophole in any hard fast teaching. Of course they won't except the loophole that there is no "True" religion.

An upside down crucifix. That's the ticket.
"Recently, however, it is common for the upside-down cross to be used as a symbol of atheism, humanism, and the occult. Several black metal bands use an inverted cross to call attention to their supposed devotion to Satan. Upside-down crosses appear in horror movies such as The Omen and The Conjuring as a signal of demonic activity. The symbol crops up in tattoos, on pendants, and as a logo on t-shirts. Sometimes, it is accompanied by statements such as “Believe in Yourself,” “There Is No God,” “Black Mass,” or “Not Transformed.” In these contexts, the obvious intent of the inverted cross is to declare an opposition to Christianity. Turning the cross upside down becomes a means of denying the truth of Christ and mocking His sacrifice.
So, what is the meaning of an upside-down cross? It depends on the context. When the symbol is used in a church setting, it is most likely a reference to Peter and the manner of his death. In other contexts the inverted cross is often an anti-Christian symbol. In our fallen world, holiness is often mocked and what is good and pure is twisted by the “god of this age” (2 Corinthians 4:4). " Google result for upside down crucifix. -

Well, they used you for "necessary business", that being; getting your contribution to caring for your mum and input as someone who obviously can work with worldly people to get her situated. Then of course, you're no longer necessary for business. Fools. Good to see you back.
